After years of missing their beloved “Alabama BBQ”, Phil & Jackie opened Phil’s BAR-B-Que Pit, a family BBQ restaurant, in the style of some of their favorite old BBQ joints. Phil’s originally featured an open pit where customers could watch Phil cook his mouthwatering BBQ over oak and hickory hardwoods. Fast forward to today. Phil’s success forced the retirement of the original small open pit for more modern smoking methods. Rest assured, Phil still oversees the smoking operation and makes sure the BBQ served today is just as mouthwatering as the BBQ of old.
